FIYA Floorball is a brand NEW FIYA sports offering that will now be introduced in the 2022-2023 school year as a Fall season league event. As a league sport, Floorball will occur over an 8 to 10-week period involving a regular season league schedule and playoffs (for qualifying Division 1 teams only). TEAM REGISTRATION CLOSES FOR 2022 SEASON
Floorball Age Divisions:
Division 1 = 8th Grade & Below
Division 2 = 6th Grade & Below
Division 3 = 4th Grade & Below
NOTE: Students are allowed to play in older divisions, but are prohibited from playing in lower divisions than their age group.
SEASON DATES & GAME TIMES:
Starting in the Fall, the Floorball regular season will roughly take place from October through December with playoffs to follow and ending in mid-December. All of our league events and the majority of tournament events occur on weekdays between the hours of 4PM and 7PM start times.
FALL 2022 DATES
- REGISTRATION OPENS: Aug 29
- REGISTRATION CLOSES: Oct 7
- COACHES MEETING: 5PM on Oct 13 via Google Meet
- START OF REGULAR SEASON: Oct 17
- END OF REGULAR SEASON: Dec 9
- D1/D1A PLAYOFFS: Dec 12-16

Leagues & Locations
FIYA organizes its leagues geographically. That is, we group school teams together based on their physical location in order to minimize travel. League events are also centralized which means our games occur at a location in that league's region which will host multiple games per day. Floorball regional leagues and gym locations will be announced following team registration for our first Floorball season in Fall 2022. We hope you can join us and explore this new offering with us!
